This type of handwoven wool tapestry is commonly used as a wall hanging. The original design for this piece was made in 2006. This piece has natural dyed blue as a background color and rusts, peach, dark red, wine, mint greens, light and dark blues, and light teal included in its design. It uses natural dyes, which means that yarn in this piece uses dyes that were obtained from flowers, leaves, wood, or insects. It was woven by Irvin Trujillo who is a seventh-generation weaver, 2007 NEA National Heritage Fellow, and recurring Spanish Market top award winner. It measures approximately 40 by 46 inches.
