Bags and Purses
Some sort of purse has been produced almost from the beginning of the weaving industry in Chimayo. We have bags for a number of uses, from eyeglass cases to small bags, to our Chimayo Bag, which is large enough for hauling around the basics of life. Made of hand-woven wool, they will probably last nearly as long as a leather bag. All of these are lined. Buttons are either Indian Head/Buffalo nickels, or silver, straps are of a black twisted cording. Sizes are approximate size in inches. Each piece is handmade and show individual variation.
