My name is Rebecca Duran. I learned the art of weaving from my mother, when I was a young girl watching her weave. I became interested in weaving when I was fifteen years old. I have been weaving for twenty-five years and I really enjoy it. It is good both for mind and body. I am the third generation in my family to weave. I would like to keep the tradition going. So I taught my older son, Adrian Duran. He is now weaving also. I also taught my brother and sister-in-law. They are also now weaving.
I started weaving for Jake, Irvin's dad, about ten years ago. They are all great people to work for. I have learned a lot from them. I would like to thank Irvin and Lisa Trujillo for the opportunity to work for them. Thank you and God Bless You.
