This type of handwoven wool blanket is commonly used as a furniture drape, as in over the back or arm rest on a chair, or maybe on a side table or on the wall. They also get sewn up into pillows. This piece has light oxford as a background color and wine, green heather and natural yellow included in its design. It uses mixed dyes, which means that at least some of these yarns are from natural dyes, and some of these yarns were hand dyed or commercially dyed. It was woven by Emily Trujillo who is an eighth generation of the weaving Trujillo family. It measures approximately 20 by 20 inches.
