This large, modern-looking felted piece was created at the Espanola Valley Fiber Arts Center by a group of people working together on the large wet-felting machine called Thumper II. The image is actually a representation of the main archeological ruin in the valley at nearby Bandelier National Monument. This piece has multiple natural undyed colors with rainbow colored felt pieces included in its design. The colors were obtained with natural dyes, which means that yarn in this piece uses dyes that were obtained from flowers, leaves, wood, or insects. It measures approximately 67 by 51 inches.
