This striking garment is commonly used as a soft and elegant shawl or scarf. It is woven in a mesh weave of lambswool with black and brown background with narrow pink stripes. The scarf measures approximately 17 x 70 inches, including a 3 inch fringe. It was woven by Amanda Speer, who together with her partner Dain Daller forms a fiber arts project emphasizing hand-dyeing that they call The Warp Zone, working out of their off-grid home in rural northern New Mexico.
