This style of coat has a long history dating back to the 1920s or so, when the first of these coats were made by cutting up big, handwoven, Chimayo blankets. These coats usually have traditional Chimayo designs on both the front and back panels. This coat has oatmeal as a field color and black, and green heather included in its design. The shirt collar is the traditional collar on Chimayo coats, a design used for many, many years. The coat is a size 42 and has the following measurements: Chest measurement = 24 inches(48inches), shoulder measurement= 17inches, sleeve measurement=24inches woven, 25inches knit, regular cut length=25.5inches, Flat bottom length 27inches
