9202109 - 20x40 Chimayo, handwoven wool, some natural dyed

This type of handwoven wool blanket is commonly used as a furniture drape, as in over the back or arm rest on a chair, or maybe on a side table or on the wall. This piece has dark olive as a background color and natural indigo, greens, mustard, tan and pecan included in its design. It uses mixed dyes, which means that at least some of these yarns are from natural dyes, and some of these yarns were hand dyed or commercially dyed. It was woven by Vickie Verry who is an expert and talented weaver and a member of the Valdez family who we have been honored to represent here in our shop for decades. It measures approximately 20 by 40 inches.
