I have been knitting for over 50 years, and teaching for 20 years. I teach beginning knitting and then an ongoing class for students who want more challenges and to learn more techniques. I have an honors BFA from the University of Houston. I am a fiber artist: knitter, weaver, spinner, dyer and maker of one-of-a-kind dichroic glass buttons. I have judge knitting at the New Mexico State Fair, spinning at Fiber Arts Fiesta, won many ribbons for my knitting, weaving and spinning, won a Medallion at Taos Wool Festival for spinning. I moved to New Mexico in 2003, and live in the East Mountains, Edgewood.
