Steven Lennert

Steven Lennert was born and raised near San Francisco. He attended School at University of CO, Boulder, BA Anthropology ‘79, and San Francisco State University, MBA ‘81. While he lives in New Mexico now, he lived in Oregon for 35 years. While there, he owned a Quilting/Fabric Store for many years in Portland area. Steven has been very involved in the Quilting industry teaching, designing and publishing patterns, and judging quilt shows for a long time. After retirement in 2016, he began weaving. He studied at the Damascus Fiber Arts School for 2 years, then after moving to New Mexico, has attended classes in Rio Grande Weaving with Molly Manzanares, Heather Howard, and Emily Trujillo. He currently lives in Taos, NM with his husband, David, and his 2 dogs.
